Ryan Armstrong - Table 27
Ryan is an award winning, internationally produced and published playwright. Some of his published plays include “Al Was Right”, “The Rain Problem”, “The Neighborhood Vs The Squirrels”, “The Bees”, and “Round and Round”. Ryan has had several other plays produced throughout the United States. His play “Rabbit on to Print ” was produced by Borderless Theatre Company and can be heard as a radio play on their website in 2021. His play “The United Federation Alliance of Merry Men ” was produced in London by Creo Theatre in March 2022 and by Manchester ADP at the Hope Mill Theatre in May. His play “Like a Cow in India, And Other Crimes” was a finalist in the 2023 Scenesaver Just Write Competition. His play “Stabbing People Behind an Arras When You Don’t Know Who They Are” is a winner in the 2022-2023 Central PA Playwriting Festival. Most recently, his one-act “Man of the Woods” and his full-length comedy “Playing Cops and Reporters” were selected for the New Works Series 2023 and are receiving staged readings at the Limelight Theatre Company in Brewster, NY on December 9th, 2023.
Dana hall and david lipschultz - ahavah
Dana Hall (she/her) and David Lipschutz (he/him) are Chicago-area artists. Their plays include Pete & Petria’s Petrifying Podcast (Gather by the Ghostlight; For Page & Screen), A Date with Dagon (Divine Madness Players; Westchester Civic Theatre), Matzah Ball Soup (The Lightbulb Factory), and Ahavah, which has been produced with over a dozen theatres around the world and is featured in Smith & Kraus’ “The Best Ten-Minute Plays 2023”. Christopher Jean Soucy - Time to Talk
Chris’ Artistic Statement on NPX:
I feel that all art is storytelling. Whether with paint and brush, chisel and stone, music and lyrics, on the stage or onscreen the purpose is to convey a thought or feeling from one human to another. It is the fundamental connection we share with the entirety of the human race.
Nancy Temple - Ties that bind
Nancy Temple has written short and full-length plays. Her plays have been produced in numerous festivals in the US, Europe and Canada. Her play for high-schoolers, “Victoria for President! 1872” was published by Next Stage Press (2020). Her full-length “The Caregivers,” received a staged reading by the North Shore Readers in December of 2020, and was published ARTemis Wisdom Anthology (2021). “Riverbend Blue,” a short story, was published by riverSedge, the annual publication of the University of Texas Rio Grande. Nancy received her MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University in June 2021.
Jeff Dunne - Schism
Jeff Dunne completed his first full-length play in 2015, and it received such positive recognition in festivals in 2016 that he began writing more actively. He now has over 150 scripts of various length, the majority of which are for stage but several for screen and radio as well. His works have won over a hundred awards and festivals, and seen more than 200 productions across four continents. John Busser - Hanging on for Near Life
John Busser is an actor/writer/graphic artist from Avon, Ohio. He is the co-runner of Cleveland Public Theatre’s writer’s workshop, The Dark Room, which helps new and seasoned playwrights test drive new work. He is the author of over 100 short plays, some of which have been produced throughout the US, Canada, the UK and Australia. He is also a cast member of the long running FLANAGAN’S WAKE, having performed in it over 17 years at Playhouse Square in downtown Cleveland. Children’s Letters to Satan (and Other Horrible Scribblings), a collection of 7 of his original plays is available from Next Stage Press.
Erin Moughon - For Mr. Cuddles/prewritten
Erin Moughon is a playwright and teacher based in New York City. She is a proud member of the Dramatist Guild and an Arthur Miller Fellow. Erin also loves being a cat mom to two tuxedo kittens and being married to David. Some of her short plays can be found in several editions of The Best Ten Minute Plays edited by Lawrence Harbison and her monologues can be found in Voices of America Vol 1, 3, & 4 edited by Mike Lesser of the Playground Experiment. Monica Cross - On Robots and Raindrops
Monica Cross earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin College (now Mary Baldwin University) in 2013, where she took her first playwriting class with Professor Todd Ristau. She has had several short plays produced at festivals across the United States, and self produced her one-act play, “Cyrano on the Moon” at the Tampa International Fringe Festival in 2017. The Red Dice Collective then produced “Cyrano on the Moon” at the Minnesota Fringe Festival in 2018. Wonder of Our Stage, Monica’s first full length play, was winner of the 2018 Players New Play Festival in Sarasota, FL, and went on to be included in their Summer Sizzler’s Series in 2019. She is also the recipient of the 2019 John Ringling Towers Individual Artist Award for Performing Arts, and a fellow at the Hermitage Artist Retreat.

Joe Swenson - Clouds/Right as Rain/Angel Flight/Play In The Rain
Joe Swenson is an emerging playwright and member of the Dramatist Guild. He has found a voice and a way to tell stories that captivates audiences all over. Primarily his shows focus on the human experience through dramatic/traumatic moments. His show “Joey” is an autobiographical story about an abduction and subsequent abuse over a 7 year period of his life.
