Joe Swenson - Since 2015
President, Writer, Director, Editor, Soundscape Engineer, Executive Producer...
Creative outlets have been a staple of Joe’s life forever. Author of the wildly popular young adult fiction novel, Letter #3 and the upcoming sequel The Key, writing is just one of his outlets. Actor, director, screen writer, and playwright are a few more. The goal is always to entertain, be thought provoking, and potentially inspire in whatever creative outlet that is being pursued.
While Broken Arts has been around since 2015, we really started to take off in 2020 with the pandemic forcing arts to be found in unique ways. Playground Rules was born out of this. None of this could be accomplished without the support of my loving and talented family first and creative and talented people that have helped to shape and grow Broken Arts.
Dana Hall - Since 2022
Executive Producer | Director of Learning and Development
Dana is a professional performer, playwright, and more. She lends her expertise to our team to teach them proper voice acting techniques as well as encouraging BAE performers to stretch their limits.
Hannah Lee DeFrates - Since 2022
Executive Producer | Director of Creative Marketing
Hannah is responsible for all things creative that we produce in recording. She has been integral in increasing our social media footprint and building our Instagram, producing our shorts/reels/and more.
Helen Crawford - Since 2020
Executive Producer | Director of Anthologies
Helen has been with Broken Arts since Quarantine 2038 and has been an essential part of nearly everything that BAE has done since. Helen is responsible for every aspect in the production of our anthologies. In addition, she produces most of our series and is an essential part of the cast and crew in regards to each production.
Jack Davis - Since 2015
Executive Producer | Director of Anthologies
Jack has been an essential part of Broken Arts Entertainment since 2015. Whether it was Improv, performing in Fringe, Quarantine 2038, and more. Jack is one of our two Executive producers dedicated to all aspects of our anthologies.
Lora Hogan - Since 2023
Executive Producer | Director of Marketing
In addition to Lora’s skills as a performer, she also has a background in marketing and is responsible for our website as well as IMDb and helps out with Social Media as well as creative works. Lora first joined BAE to be part of the Loved Ones Podcast and as the company grew, she take on more roles with our marketing.
Cole Dzubak - Since 2022
Producer | Anthologies
Cole has been working with BAE since a reading of Crossing Lines in 2022. Since then he’s been integral in all aspects of Broken Arts from acting to directing, producing and recruiting talent to join our team.
Derek Kingsley - Since 2023
Producer | Anthologies | Editing
Derek has been involved with Broken Arts Entertainment since playing Michael in Season 1/Episode 7 of A Fragile Mind. His expertise has grown as well and has lent his hand in editing scripts in addition to being a stellar performer, sought after director, and now producer.
Ian Ashland - Since 2021
Producer | Anthologies
Ian has been part of BAE since 2021 as he participated in the development of both Final Out and Crossing Lines. Ian has proven to be an excellent actor and the shows he’s directed have been outstanding, which elevates him to producer.
Gwen Fraser - Since 2022
Producer | Marketing
Gwen originated several roles with Broken Arts including the role of Stephanie/Jenny/Tammy from A Fragile Mind, the role of Joanie from Angel Flight. A stellar performer and graphic artist. She joins Hannah and Lora as our trio of marketing genuises.
